for Dance Companies & Artists

For editorial purposes, the $500 Feature Photo placement is restricted to dance companies and individual artists who meet ALL of the following criteria:

• Professional;
• Nonprofit (incorporation as a 501c3 entity required for dance companies only);
• Based in the 5-county Philadelphia region for the past three years or longer.

Sponsors may be asked to show evidence of their eligibility. If you do not meet these eligibility requirements, we still want you in the calendar! Please choose one or more of the other sponsorship level(s) – Directory Ad, Date Listings, Grid/Tribute Photo. Thank you!

for Nonprofits, Businesses, and Corporations

These placements are open to the extended dance community, in Philadelphia and beyond, which can include:

• Arts presenters;
• Universities & Continuing education programs;
• Dance Studios;
• Recreational/Social dance groups;
• Corporations and Businesses who support and/or serve the dance community.

All sponsors will be reviewed for eligibility and all placements will be reviewed for content. Dance/USA Philadelphia reserves the right to make final editorial decisions.

Performance shots preferred.

Please provide 3 different photos for curatorial purposes. Dance/USA Philadelphia reserves final image selection rights.

Sponsor must secure all rights to the use of the image. Collage or digitally manipulated images subject to editorial approval. No Nudity. No Text.

Acceptable photo formats: TIF, JPG, or PDF.

Photos in all formats can be CMYK or grayscale.
Resolution must be at least 300dpi at 100% scale.

Print Sizes:

Feature Photo will be sized to fit 7.5″H x 10.5″W.
Grid/Tribute Photo will be sized to fit 2.5″H x 2″W.
Directory Logo/Photo will be sized to fit 1″ square.

Please double-check to make sure your ad is the correct size:

Horizontal 4″H x 7″W
Vertical 8″H x 3.5″W

Ads should be submitted as follows:

• If using Illustrator, change all fonts to outline and save as .eps
• If using InDesign or Quark, save as .pdf
• If using Photoshop, flatten file and save as .tif

Ads in all formats can be CMYK or Grayscale, at least 300 dpi.
If including bitmap images, they must be at least 800 dpi.
